Enjoying the Sun

It was a beautiful sunny day so we went on a walk/picnic with N'ma and our cousins. What a fun time we had!

Oops we kindof got locked in.  The farmer didn't realize we were still there! :)  Fortunately our neighbor had a key to let us out!

Oh and this is the baby's version of T.P. stuck to ones shoe but with a baby wipe instead! Got to love it!

Farm Trip

Here's a Smilebox of our trip to the farm with some friends.  It is the neatest place.  They have a farm store (which includes a bakery & gift shop) that is open year-round along with the petting zoo.  During the spring it is a full blown nursery but during the fall they convert the greenhouses it into a fun fall "playground."   They have corn & hay mazes, slides, forts, wagon rides, pumpkin & corn patches, zip lines, bounce houses, cider and apple tastings etc.  We spent most of our time in the petting zoo and playground.  The kids loved every minute of it.  We had 5 kiddos, 4 kids under the age of 2, and 3 mommies.  We managed to all pack into one vehicle so we were a sight to behold.  I felt like Mary Poppins' bottomless bag as we kept unloading people out of the car!

Where has July gone?!

As I sit down to post I am completely amazed that the whole month of July has passed! Though I didn't post at all in July one can't say it was a dull month. By far it has been a wonderfully busy and fun month. So what has happened in July you ask. We attended a family reunion, celebrated our 1st anniversary, went away on a vacation, had family and friends come and visit, created a new flowerbed, paddled down the river, worked in the garden, picked, baked, and froze over 10 gallons of blueberries... That is just a taste of what we did the whole month of July. I really will try and be better this month but when the weather is so nice outside its hard to stay in and sit at a computer! :)
