Underwater Picture

I've been meaning to post this picture for awhile but I'm just now getting around to doing it!  In Liesel's swimming class the teacher takes pictures of the students "dipping" underwater.

Liesel didn't use to like going underwater but since we've done a 2nd session of swimming lessons she doesn't seem to mind it that much especially if she has a floaty toy she's going for.  She also is doing much better at kicking, back floats, and "big arms!"

Swimming Lessons

Liesel started swimming lessons today.  I know she seems kindof  young but I thought it would be fun to do with her especially before the baby comes.  It's a mommy and baby class for ages 6 months-18 months.  There are 7 other babies in the class and I think Liesel is the oldest!  Their goal is to get the babies familiar with the water and to teach them to float on their back.  We did lots of "water songs", bubble blowing, practiced floating, and Liesel even went underwater twice!  It was Liesel's 1st time in a pool and she sure seemed to enjoy it!
