Pumpkin Craft

We went over to our Pastor and his wife's house for lunch on Sunday and Mrs. A did this fun craft with Liesel.  Liesel really enjoyed it!

I'm somewhat embarrassed to admit I haven't done that many crafts with Liesel. This is only the 2nd craft she's really done and the first to hang on the fridge!  Lately I've been getting some more fun craft ideas so hopefully as the rain/winter weather starts to come we'll have some more crafts to do! :)

More Birthday Pictures

Liesel kindof had three birthday celebrations this year.  One in the beginning of August when we did an August Family Birthday Bash (that included my dad, mother-in-law, father-in-law, and bro-in-law), then on the day of her birthday we celebrated with her cousins, and a few days after that with just us & my bro-in-law.

Mommy's (& Daddy's) Big Helper

Liesel is such a big helper.  And she almost gets upset if she can't help. If she sees me standing at the counter doing something she'll run and get her "help me chair" so she can help.  What a sweetie!  One of her favorite things to do is to help unload the dishwasher and spin the lettuce.  Here are a few other things she likes to help with.

Making cookies or anything that requires the mixer

Bring her laundry basket to the laundry room

"Git the bug" aka fly swatting but of course you must do it in a tutu! :)

Helping Daddy vacuum up the fishy crackers she dropped and stepped on

Picking berries

Keeping the pig food from "falling" out

More like hanging on so she doesn't fall out! :)

Oh and did a mention she loves changing the sheets on her bed!  She'd change them everyday if her mommy would let her! :)  I sure love my little helper!

It was a beautiful sunny day so we went on a walk/picnic with N'ma and our cousins. What a fun time we had!

Oops we kindof got locked in.  The farmer didn't realize we were still there! :)  Fortunately our neighbor had a key to let us out!

Easter Pictures

This year Liesel was the only little kid at our Easter Celebration.  One set of cousins was getting over the chickenpox and the other set was visiting the other side of the family.  Even though Liesel was the only one we still did a little Easter egg hunt for her.  She sure had fun finding the eggs and when she discovered that there was "things" inside of them she liked it even more!
