Well, we are official at 36 weeks and counting. That means we should be having this baby in about a month, give or take a few weeks! I'm hoping more for the take side of things. :) I really can't complain because I have been feeling really well and have been able to keep a normal pace of life up. I will admit I am more tired in the evening but as long as I try and make sure I pace myself throughout the day I'm good.
I had my doctor's appointment yesterday and she was a little concerned because it seemed like the baby was breeched. Head up, feet down. She did a quick ultrasound and was happy to inform me that baby is not breeched at all but is head down ready to go. That was a relief for me to hear because if the exercises she was going to give me didn't turn our little girl, than we were talking about a guaranteed C-section.
Other than that everything else seemed to be good. She did tell me I needed to be gaining more weight as I had lost a little since seeing her 2 weeks ago. Part of that maybe because I'm not drinking enough water. It's not that I'm drinking water but with this hot weather I need to be drinking more! So I guess that is also the green light to be eating more though honestly with the hotter weather I don't seem to be as hungry. I guess I'll have to be a little better about snacking more.
The baby's room is also coming along. I finished quilting the quilt top and sent it off to my mom to bind. (Pictures to come soon!) Also this last weekend while my DH took a group of boys camping my mother-in-law and I worked on the curtains in the room and got them completed. It was also neat because my brother-in-law and father-in-law put the mini-blinds up in the room too. Now all that is left to do is finish organizing all the clothes and gifts that were given to us, take down the guest bed, put the crib up, and finish the crib skirt. Plus I do need to make a few sheets for the cradle that will be in our bedroom. We're getting there slowly but surely.
Well, off I go to work more on the room and hopefully be able to get the bed down by this evening!

Great to hear you are doing so well. I think our little one will be coming sooner than yours. I'm already on bedrest and contracting since last Friday! Not much fun, but I'll see if he can stay in a few more days. The more the better. He is head up, but since I already knew I had a c-section planned it didn't change things.
Can't wait to meet your little girl.
Ooooo....Oooooo....oooooo....so exciting!!!
Love, T
How wonderful that Grandma, Grandpa and Uncle - to - be get a hand in the preparations.! A very exciting time for all of you.
